The Sudanese medical doctors in Malaysia and slSouth East Asia have launched an intiavtive to support their fellow doctors in Sudan under intiative title “Stand for medical personnel in Sudan a s a national campaign appealing Sudanese people all over the world to contribute with what they can to overcome the economic crisis and the current pandemic threat.
Stand for medical personnel is step one of the stand for Sudan’s steps. “Its a fundraising campaign supported by Sudanese residing in Malaysia and other south east Asian country. This initiative aim for collective contribution from Sudanese to help medical doctors to defeat and fight corona virus COVID-19.said Dr. Afrah Yousif Abotawilla Chairperson of Stand for medical personnel intiative
She urged raising fund to help our medical staff in Sudan who are fighting against Coronavirus , alot of them now are in quarantine after they got infected because they don’t have PPE, or any other simple protective measure. Some hospital has closed because no medical staff left to deliver services.

The fundraising campaign supported by the Sudanese communities in Malaysia and other South-East Asian countries in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and Secretariat of Sudanese Working Abroad – Sudan , The campaign aims to buy essential PPE and sterilising chemicals to support the medial personnel fighting Covid-19 in Sudan.
