To create an English online news paper was not a new idea or something happened by the accident but it is accumulative efforts and opinion. Years ago I was thinking of news paper which can address the needs of new generation and to focus on their concerns such as equality employment, freedom of expression, gender balance and other challenges of modern time. This is why the idea of Khartoum Today has come to my mind, that the political social, economic arena required a forum to stand in midway from all sides and report in professional view regardless of any influences and tendencies, because the value of freedom, justice and peace cannot be achieved without credible reports and true information. This value which inspired the generation of Sudanese revolution we need to work together to translated the slogan of 19 December on the ground , no doubt that there is still long way to go but as long as we take the right way soon or late we will reach our inevitable destination . We to provide our keen readers with unprecedented experience for English online newspaper for both Sudanese nationals and foreigners as well, we will take care of our audience, remarks, comments and suggestions. We also believe that building confidence and credibility is one of our core values that we use to bridge the gap with our audience world wide. Khartoum Today is for Sudanese people wherever they are without any kind of discrimination based on political, social or religious discrimination. It is very important Khartoum Today comes at the moment of critical time of Sudan in particular and the world general due to outbreak the novel coronavirus known has COVID-19, .The pandemic which has stopped and threatened the life of half of world population. This challenge will encourage us to go of the same way of support and solidarity to help the human kinds to face this new danger . As Sudanese media outlets will sure help the government and help the people to help themselves , through spread awareness among indigenous people so that we can prevail this crisis .
